Save the date!

The final Innovine symposium during which will be presented the main findings obtained during the four years of the project, will take place in Toulouse - South West of France - on the 16th and 17th of November 2016. The first day will be more addressed to scientists and will be divided into two sessions: managing drought and berry quality in a context of climate change; managing pests and diseases in vineyards through resistant varieties and innovating low input practices. Keynote speakers will be invited to present the ‘state on the art’ or other perspectives on these two topics. The second day will be mainly targeted to winegrowers and technical advisers and will deal with the Decision Support Systems (DSSs) developed during the project and the viticultural techniques that are ready to be put into practice. DSSs demonstrations and tasting sessions of experimental wines made during Innovine will be organized in small groups in the afternoon.  It will be a unique opportunity to taste a wide range of resistant or tolerant cultivars bred in several European countries (France, Germany, Italy…).
