The development of new grapevines varieties, vineyard practices and decision support tools is an esThe development of new grapevines varieties, vineyard practices and decision support tools is an essential step to improve the competitivity and suistabibility of the European viticulture and winery industry. Therefore, it is fundamental to efficiently inform all the actors involved in vineyard research, management and winemaking about the new knowledge, tools and methods developed in the project as well as to train them in their use. This must be done at regional, national, European and international levels. All dissemination activities and stakeholder interactions will be demand driven, taking into account the needs of various target groups and tailoring the communications according to them. Several tools will be developped and organized during the project such as a website (to be maintained well beyond the project lifetime), physical meetings, either bilateral, multilateral or public (conference), hardcopy material (posters, brochures, flyers) and training days (information days, field demonstration...). Although dissemination actions will benefit the participation of all partners, two of them, IFV and VINIDEA, which are specialized in dissemination of technical vineyard and wine knowledge, will play important roles.
